Dear KDC Community,
As you know, student safety and their well-being are our highest priorities at KIPP Colorado. With that in mind, I am writing to inform you of a recent incident that took place in the community. Today, October 3rd, a serious vehicular accident occurred at a local business near KDC. No KDC students or staff were involved, and DPD and emergency responders were immediately on site at the business to support emergency response.
The timing of this incident took place during lunch, and your student may have heard about this event. While this was a non-KDC related incident, we recognize that hearing about incidents like this can bring up different emotions for students. We encourage you to reach out to your child to connect with them as needed. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at the points of contact below.
