Hay innumerables costos "ocultos" de una educación universitaria. Los costos "ocultos" son las cosas que los estudiantes van a necesitar, o simplemente lo que realmente quieren.El Verdadero Costo del Colegio es un taller diseñado para aumentar la conciencia sobre el costo de la universidad y ayudar a las familias de KIPP Colorado a comprender la importancia de ahorrar para la universidad. Al final de este taller, los padres / familias podrán diferenciar el costo de asistencia entre las escuelas públicas, las escuelas privadas y las universidades comunitarias, e Identificar 3-5 costos ocultos de la universidad que requieren ahorro.

Este taller será presentado por el Equipo de KIPP Through College en el Retiro Familiar de las Escuelas de Colorado KIPP el sábado 6 de abril.

On top of the already anticipated tuition, there are countless, “hidden” costs of a college education. The “hidden” costs are the things students are going to need—or just really, really want.

The True Cost of College is a workshop designed to increase awareness about the cost of college and help KIPP Colorado families understand the importance of saving for college. By the end of this workshop, parents/families will be able to

differentiate the cost of attendance between public schools, private schools and community colleges and Identify 3-5 hidden costs of college that require saving.

This workshop will be presented by the KIPP Through College Team at the KIPP Colorado Schools Family Retreat on Saturday, April 6th.
