Thank You Volunteers 😁

Robin Rodriguez- sees what needs to be done and does it, even things you didn't realize you needed help with yet. Filing papers in mailboxes? Done! Organizing library bookshelves? Yes! Retyping a math game to include only possibilities found on rolling two dice? You bet! Literally, she is an extra set of hands and feet and an integral part of my reading and math groups, too!

Lauren Slaten- is a hardworking, fun-loving, CREATIVE volunteer who deserves recognition! Even though her boys have moved on to the secondary school, Lauren continues to help Laura Giggy with Elementary Staff Appreciation and other Frontier events! Lauren uses her amazing graphic design skills and creativity to support our elementary OPT. We appreciate Lauren Slaten!

Stacey Schilling- is an outstanding volunteer at Frontier. She dedicates her time to the library, classrooms, and the Dojo store. Each week, she spends many hours in the library, assisting students during library classes and supporting various special projects. Stacey is instrumental in tasks such as checking in, reshelving, and covering books. Additionally, she has spent countless hours updating our Nonfiction section by reorganizing it and adding genre labels to thousands of books. Whenever I need help in the library, I know I can count on Stacey. Thank you, Stacey!

Yvette Herrera- is a party planner extraordinaire! She has engaging ideas for themes, games, snacks and will do the sign-up genius and coordinates volunteers. She has saved me hours and given my students fun memories!

Dear Parents,

This February, we will continue to hold parent-teacher conferences for grades 6-12 via Zoom. These will be held Tuesday, February 18th, and Wednesday, February 19th, from 4:30-7:30 pm. We have received consistent positive feedback from parents regarding Zoom conferences. In particular, parents appreciate that there are no lines to wait in and they know when each teacher is available. In addition, teachers can see more parents than before.

We will provide a form to sign up in advance via Sign Up Genius, so if you would like to conference with a particular teacher, watch for more information and signup links in the next few weeks. Parents must sign up well in advance of the conference date. Check your Spam folder for the emailed Zoom links as the date gets closer.  These Zoom link emails usually come via Sign Up Genius and not from the teacher email accounts.

If it is more helpful to meet in person, teachers are available to meet after school throughout the year, by appointment only. Please work with individual teachers to arrange a meeting time.

Thank you for supporting our students and teachers!
