🍽️ School Lunch Update 🍎
If a student forgets their lunch, they will be provided with a free school lunch. 🥪 We kindly ask that parents refrain from dropping off or having lunches delivered to campus. 🚫
Parents who are scheduled as visitors are welcome to bring lunch and join their child for a meal. 🍴👨👩👧👦 However, we encourage students to bring their own lunch; if not, the school will provide one. 🍔
This is being implemented due to an increasing number of lunch deliveries, which have caused staffing challenges and delays. 🕒 Unfortunately, some students have missed their meals because deliveries didn’t arrive on time. ⏳
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping our campus running smoothly. 😊 If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Dr. Every. 📞

Dear Frontier Academy Community,
In our continued effort to keep our schools as safe as possible for students and staff, we will be implementing a new procedure around volunteer approvals starting in January. This is being done not as a reaction to concerns we have about volunteers, but to stay current with available resources designed to keep our schools safe. Currently, volunteers get screened in our visitor and volunteer check-in system called Raptor. This system has been expanded to now have the opportunity for us to have a criminal background check of all volunteers rather than just a sex offender registry check. Frontier Academy will be partnering with Greeley District 6 to implement this process, and it is already functional at most district schools. Our goal is to keep all the great volunteers that we have while giving the peace of mind that the individuals coming into our buildings are safe to be around our children.
The process will look slightly different. Once per year, volunteers will be required to fill out a quick form online to process their information and ensure they are clear of criminal activity that would limit them from being around children (most felony convictions, domestic violence, outstanding criminal warrants, unlawful sexual behavior, etc.). The link in the online form will show all District 6 schools, so you can select any schools that your students attend rather than having to complete the process multiple times. Within a few days of completing the form, Frontier Academy administrators will notify the parent that they are cleared to request a time to volunteer within the school. Frontier Academy administrators, not district officials, will have the final say regarding a parent’s ability to volunteer within the school after reviewing the results of the background check. If you have specific questions about your personal circumstances, please contact our administration directly.
This process will begin at Frontier Academy in January. If you would like to fill out the form now so that you are ready to continue volunteering in January, please click HERE. If you have questions or concerns about this new procedure, please contact Dr. Every, Mr. Budzynski, or Dr. Seedorf.
Thank you,
Dr. Stephen Seedorf
