Important Message From the PRA Governing Board

Dear Platte River Academy Community,

 

As we prepare to enter Platte River Academy’s 28th year, the Governing Board remains committed to ensuring the long-term success and legacy of our school. In support of this, the Governing Board recently made the decision to evolve our leadership model from a dual Director structure (composed of our Director of Academics and Director of Operations) to a three-Director model, which will now include a Director of Finance.

 

We are pleased to share that Jackie Cote has been elevated to this new role in recognition of her many years of service (24 years!!), steadfast dedication, and deep understanding of our school, district and state’s financial landscape. Her leadership and commitment have been instrumental, and we are confident that this new structure will allow PRA to move forward with a stronger fiscal mindset as we navigate future decisions and projects.

 

The Board believes this expanded leadership team positions us well to maintain our academic excellence while reinforcing the fiscal responsibility that has long defined Platte River Academy.

 

Join us in congratulating Jackie on this well-deserved advancement. Please keep an eye out for future communications to further clarify roles and responsibilities between our three directors.  We are excited for what lies ahead.
