Week In Review 3/10-3/14

03/09/25, 7:32 PM

Below is the "Week in Review"

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we continue to navigate the water issue that took place on Friday. We are sending out this week's "Week in Review" a day early to ensure parents have the best overview of the week ahead.

Please be sure to check your email regularly, as we will be sending important updates from administration and classroom teachers throughout the week.

Mrs. Pratt recently sent a communication to all of 6-8 parents.  I will attach it to this email in case you missed it.

Mr. McQueen also sent out a recap of what happened on Friday and what to expect for the upcoming week, it is also attached.

The adjusted March Lunch Menu is attached.  Please be sure to check for any updates to changes in lunch for this week.

Day to day details will be laid out in this email for parents as well.

1)

  • Due to K-5 not being in the building this week, Talent Show auditions are being moved to the week after Spring Break.  Lots of time to practice😉.
    • Auditions will now take place on March 25th, 26th & 27th from 3:45-4:55pm in the Music Room.

2)

  • Please donate any and all boxes of cereal to PRA.  Accepting cereal from March 3rd-APRIL 3rd (deadline extended).  All cereal after the domino event will be donated to a local food bank!!!!
  • PRA is going to have the biggest domino event you’ve ever seen. Instead of dominoes, we’re going to be using your donated cereal boxes, and instead of a table we’re going to be using the hallways through the school. We want this event to be big, and you can help us by donating an unopened box of cereal through April 3rd!

3)

  • We have lots of openings for WATCH D.O.G.S. to join us here at PRA.
  • Please sign up HERE

Boys B Level Volleyball Coach Needed

The boys volleyball team is in need of a B level coach for the upcoming season.  The season begins on March 12th, but the first game doesn't take place until March 31st, so there is flexibility in the start date.  Practices are typically Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:15pm to 5pm and games on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:15pm (ends around 6:15pm).  No Friday practices. The coach will help alongside A team coach Bill Pascua in practice and be the head coach for all B games.  I will help wherever needed to make sure the coach is well prepared.  Please contact Bill Pascua at bpascua@prak8.org for more information.  A stipend is included.
