1) IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Due to the potential for some winter weather in the AM, we are moving Donuts with Dads to Wednesday, March 5th. Time remains from 7-8am. The signup will be switched to Wednesday! Thank you for all you do!!! If you need to make changes due to your schedule, please go HERE.

The 2025 Platte River Academy Governing Board elections are here! For the 2025 year, there will be TWO open positions on the Governing Board and we would like to solicit your help.
What do you need to do to take this courageous step? The process and timing is as follows:
- Complete a submission form by: March 28th, 2025.
- This submission form will include a candidate profile and you will receive a follow-up contact from a Governing Board Member to complete a video on April 7, 2025.
- A short video will be shared with the school community prior to the election on April 14th, 2025.
- Voting takes place from April 21 - April 27,2025.
- Results will be communicated to the candidates and then made public by May 1, 2025.

- The new venue and new ticket price is TBD, our Fundraising Committee is working hard to bring all the information to you in Thursday's Newsletter.

- The PRA Talent Show signups have been posted outside the library! Encourage your child to sign up and get practicing to show us their talent!

- Please donate any and all boxes of cereal to PRA. Accepting cereal from March 3rd-March 13th. All cereal after the domino event will be donated to a local food bank!!!!

PRA is going to have the biggest domino event you’ve ever seen. Instead of dominoes, we’re going to be using your donated cereal boxes, and instead of a table we’re going to be using the hallways through the school. We want this event to be big, and you can help us by donating an unopened box of cereal over the next 10 days!
- Lots of volunteer help is needed for the Spring Book Fair! Please click the "hand" to go to the signup!

Monday, March 3: 2 people to work the fair from 3-5 TODAY

Tuesday, March 4: 1 person to work fair from 9-11am

Wednesday, March 5: 2 people from 7-9am to help with Donuts with Dads checkout
- 2 people to work fair from 8-10am
- 2 people to work fair from 12-2pm
- 2 people to work fair from 2-5pm

Friday, March 7: 3 people to help with cleanup.

- We are having a Family Work Day on Saturday, March 8th from 8-12pm.
- Mr. Brook & Mr. McDonald need your help at PRA, indoors and outdoors, on Saturday, March 8th, 8am-12pm. Sign up HERE and earn volunteer hours! Still plenty of spots to fill. EACH member of your family that signs up gets volunteer hours!!!!!
