Happy New Year PRA Community!!!! It was lovely to welcome back all the students this morning!!

SAC wants to know what you think!
TWO DAYS LEFT TO GIVE FEEDBACK!
*Due to opening this survey shortly before we went on Winter Break our participation numbers are quite low. Please take a moment to fill out this survey to give us feedback. PRA is always wanting to hear how things are going and relies on your feedback to continue to improve PRA in every way possible.
It is time to let us know how you feel things are going at PRA by participating in our Annual Parent Survey!
When can I do it? Thursday, December 12th- Thursday, January 9th
How long will it take? SAC worked to reduce the number of items on the surveys; we expect it to take 10 minutes. We ask that families complete one Academic Survey for each child attending PRA -- obviously, it will take longer to complete three Academic Surveys than one.
Can I pause in the process and return later? Unfortunately, no. You need to dedicate about 10 minutes of uninterrupted time and just go for it. There will be a link to the Academic Surveys when you reach the end of the Operations Survey. If you happen to exit after the Operations Survey, please contact Tim McCarthy (tmccarthy@prak8.org) to get access to the Academic Surveys.
What if I just complete the Operations Survey? Well, SAC certainly appreciates any feedback they get; however, your child(ren) may be disappointed that you didn’t complete the Academic Surveys. Grade levels with at least 80% participation will earn a DRESS of CHOICE Day, and SAC is sponsoring a special Hat Day for K-5 and a Hat & Hoodie Day for 6-8 if at least 80% of our families complete an Operations Survey. Who wants to be the parent who keeps his/her child’s class from earning a class prize? It’s a WIN-WIN to participate!

2) Volunteers Needed!!! Yearbook Group Photo Day, Wednesday (1/8/25)
- We are asking for 4 volunteers. A few runners, and a few to help line kids up and keep them quiet in the hall. We ask that volunteers are here by 8:20am. Group photo pictures typically take until 1 - 1:30 to complete.

- Double hours will be given to those that are able to help us!

- Going into the 2nd Semester, we have lots of openings for WATCH D.O.G.S. to join us here at PRA.

5) Girls B Level Basketball Coach Needed
- PRA is looking for a girls B level basketball coach. No experience necessary, just a desire to nurture young girls and help foster their skills. The season will be starting Tuesday January 7th and finish at the end of February. Practices normally run on Mondays and Wednesdays with games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. B level games start at 5:15pm. A stipend is included. Please contact Bill Pascua at bpascua@prak8.org for more information.

- Tickets must be purchased for Mom and each son attending the event.

- This will be a friendly competition to celebrate the amazing job we did as a school and community to raise money with our Boosterthon Run back in September!!!!!
