1)

  • We are again asking for submissions of a Veteran in your family.  If you have a relative that has served in any branch of the United States Armed Forces, please click HERE to submit information about your Veteran. 
  • We are still short MANY sack lunch orders.  Please submit HERE whether or not your child will need a sack lunch on Monday, November 11th.  All orders need to be in by the end of day on Tuesday.  
  • We will be having 2 Assemblies on Monday, November 11th.
    • 1st Assembly @ 8:30am
    • 2nd Assembly @ 10:15am
    • Lunch in the PRA Library for Veterans and Family after 2nd Assembly.  Please RSVP HERE.

  • SAVE THE DATE: Monday, November 18th-Friday, November 22nd
  • Many volunteers needed, please sign up HERE.

  • Over the years, the Douglas County Educational Foundation has highlighted hundreds of exceptional educators and district staff for their superior efforts and unwavering commitment to the students within our county by presenting them with Apple Awards. Nominations of PRA teachers and staff can be submitted online by staff, students, parents or members of the community.
  • Nominations must be submitted online HERE no later than Monday, November 11th.

  • Homework Club is 10/30.  To sign your child up, please go HERE.
  • Please remember that Homework Club ends at 4pm.  Please make sure that your child is picked up at 4pm.

  • It's time to start thinking about Kindergarten 2025/26.  Do you have a child who will be ready for Kindergarten in the fall of 2025?
  • Please contact Judy Poulliot at (303)221-1070 or email her at jpoulliot@prak8.org to make sure she has your child accounted for.

  • All parties and the parade will be held on Thursday, October 31st.  The parade will be for K-6th grade and at 1:30pm.  After the parade, all students K-8 will have fall parties in their classrooms from 2-3pm.

    Here are a few details about what the afternoon will look like.

    • Parents are invited and welcome to come to the parties and the parade.  

    • K-6 parade will be at 1:30pm.  Kids will have time to get ready in their classroom prior to the start of the parade. All parties will be from 2:00-3:00pm on Thursday, Oct. 31st. 

    • Kindergarten-5th grade will be in uniform during the school day and will change into costumes for the party. If your student wants to dress up, please send a costume in their backpack. 

    • Please no scary, gory, or suggestive costumes. Accessories are fine, but no weapons, please. Costumes need to be appropriate for all ages (rated G, please).

    • 6th, 7th & 8th have dress of choice that day (6th has the option to change into costumes in time for parade).
