Below is the "Week in Review"

1)

  • Over the years, the Douglas County Educational Foundation has highlighted hundreds of exceptional educators and district staff for their superior efforts and unwavering commitment to the students within our county by presenting them with Apple Awards. Nominations of PRA teachers and staff can be submitted online by staff, students, parents or members of the community.

  • Nominations must be submitted online HERE no later than Monday, November 11th.

 

2)

  • Homework Club is 10/9.  To sign your child up, please go HERE.
  • Please remember that Homework Club ends at 4pm.  Please make sure that your child is picked up at 4pm.  

 

3)

  • It's time to start thinking about Kindergarten 2025/26.  Do you have a child who will be ready for Kindergarten in the fall of 2025?
  • Please contact Judy Poulliot at (303)221-1070 or email her at jpoulliot@prak8.org to make sure she has your child accounted for.

 

4)

  • The Sunshine Fund is set up and ready for shopping through this week.  
  • Help is still needed to take down Sunshine Fund on Friday, October 11th. If you can help, please sign up HERE.
    • This is a fantastic way to shop for excellently priced used uniforms!!!
    • Forms of payment accepted: cash, check, and Venmo.
  • Lost and Found is also set up- if your child is missing anything, be sure to check when you are in the building this week.  Everything will be donated after Thursday evening. 

 

5)

  • Conferences are THIS WEEK!  
  • Please remember that all K-6 conferences will be signed up for using the Reachwell App and will take place in classrooms.  
  • 7/8th will have Round Robin style in the gym.  No sign up necessary if you have a 7th or 8th grader.

  • Save the Date for Halloween in the Halls: Saturday, October 26th @ 6-8pm
  • Sign up to donate candy HERE
  • Sign up to have a Hallway Candy Station HERE

  • Kid Stage @ 3:15-5pm
  • Boys BBall open gym @ 3:15-5pm
  • Wildcat Invitational Cross Country (Legacy Academy, Elizabeth CO)@ 3:30-6pm
  • Girls VBall End of the Year Party @ 3:30-5pm

 

9)

  • PRA Singers (4th-6th Choir) @ 7am and/or 3:15pm
  • Cross Country Prx @ 3:15-4:45pm
  • Landshark Prx. @ 3:30-4:15pm
  • Parent/Teacher Conferences @ 4-8pm

 

10)

  • Boys BBall Open Gym @ 3:15-5pm
  • Homework Club (See info above) @ 3:15-4pm

 

11)

  • ALL SCHOOL DRESS OF CHOICE
  • Cross Country prx @ 3:15-4:45pm
  • After School Art Club @ 3:30-4:30pm
  • Parent/Teacher Conferences @ 3:45-8pm

 

12)

  • No School - Teacher Comp Day
