Reminder: CVMS Student Fees:

The school fees are as follows:

Standard Rate: $275

Reduced Rate: $110

We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Payments can be made in person at the school office, over the phone, or online through our website NOT through the parent portal.
Click the form that is attached to this newsletter for a more detailed explanation of student fees. Please do not hesitate to contact the front office if you have any questions or concerns.
2nd Lunch Fee:

Students who request a second lunch from the cafeteria will be charged a $5 fee. This fee can only be paid at the Front Office. Please contact the front office if you have any questions or concerns about this specific fee.

Sign Up for Free Books! For children ages 0-5

Arapahoe Libraries is partnering with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, to send free books to children in our community.
-
Find out if the program is available in your area. Then, register your child(ren) from birth to age five to start receiving a book each month at no cost to you. Every child in your family may participate and receive their own books, so be sure to register each child individually. Let’s inspire a love of reading together!

Community Engagement Updates
Family Working Group - Thursday, January 25, 2024 - 8:30-10:00 am
This group takes into consideration all the feedback from families from the Family Engagement Council and the Café con Directores and takes action towards solutions to improve our campus. All are welcome to join us!
January MLE-DAC- January 24th from 5-7pm
Location: CEC Early College
This month is all about bullying and parent advocacy. The team will be providing free dinner and childcare as well as interpretation for families who need it.

Southwest Education Council - Friday, January 26, 2024 - 9:00-10:30 am
Join our Family Engagement Council and the “Denver Families for Public Schools” at Kepner Beacon for a chance to talk face to face with one of the newest School Board directors, John Youngquist! Interpretation, breakfast, and childcare will be provided.

Fundraising
The King Soopers Community Rewards program is an easy way to donate money to your school by shopping at King Soopers! Sign up on the King Soopers website is fast and free! Just connect your Sooper Card to the program using our organization ID (EH570) and buy your regular grocery list. The school will receive 5% back. The money will be used as an established scholarship fund for students in the high school to travel out of Colorado before they graduate. Please take 5 minutes to sign up and start donating to a great cause!
