Announcements

Attention 8th grade Families! DSST: College View High School invites you to their upcoming event on Thursday, February 2nd at 5:30pm. If you plan to attend DSST: College View High School, please plan to also attend the “Open House” to learn what to do during the School Choice Application Window. This is an important time for you and your students to get to know the High School staff and the expectations the High School has for students. Middle School ELA Homework Expectations

Middle school students are assigned ELA homework almost daily. Students are expected to read and annotate assigned sections nightly for homework. Each day in class homework will be checked through a brief reading quiz or by submitting their annotations. Completion of homework is crucial for their comprehension, participation and overall success in class. Please reach out to the middle school ELA teachers with any questions or to kasen.martucci@scienceandtech.org

Need help with the School Choice Application for next year? The school choice window is currently open. This application is required for any student that will be entering CVMS or CVHS for the first time, such as current 5th grade students. Wolfpack Athletic Updates

  • Boys Basketball

    • Our season has officially started! Please come out to support our Boys Basketball teams this season. Our home games are on the following dates:

      • Monday, February 13th

      • Friday, March 3rd

      • Wednesday, March 8th

  • Spring Sports Registration!

    • Good Afternoon, CVMS Families! Our Spring Sports seasons are starting soon! This upcoming Spring, we will be offering THREE different sports- Boys Volleyball, Flag Football (open to all boys AND girls) and Girls Soccer! 

    • You can register your student online at https://hello.familyid.com/. In order for your student to participate in any sport, you must have the following items completed:

      • Completed registration form (online OR on paper)

      • Current physical on file at the school (this can take a while to get scheduled, so please plan ahead!)

      • $20 payment for the activities fee

    • Our first practices and team tryouts will begin the week of March 13th!

Community Engagement Updates 

Elementary School Night at CVHS Boys Basketball Game! Monday, February 6, 5:30pm
If you have a student in elementary school, have your student wear gear from their school to get into our High School Basketball for FREE!! All 5th grade students in their school gear will also get a free ticket for a snack from our concession stand. Bring your families, cheer on our CV Basketball team, and fun!

Lotería Night February 9, 4-6pm

All Middle & High school students and families are invited to stay and play some games with each other! This fun event will help the Weightlifting Club raise money for their club. We’ll have Lotería, Uno, Chess, FIFA on Xbox and more! All games are $1 per round per game to play! Concessions available! High School Commons!


Fundraising

The King Soopers Community Rewards program is an easy way to donate money to your school by shopping at King Soopers! Sign up on the King Soopers website is fast and free! Just connect your Sooper Card to the program using our organization ID (EH570) and buy your regular grocery list. The school will receive 5% back. The money will be used as an established scholarship fund for students in the high school to travel out of Colorado before they graduate. Please take 5 minutes to sign up and start donating to a great cause!


Wolves in Action

A Lunar New Year Performance from Our AAPI Students!

A group of AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) students led a morning meeting at BOTH the middle school and high school on Monday, January 23rd, the day after Lunar New Year. They presented information about the holiday, played a trivia game with the students, and performed a beautiful traditional fan dance!
