Hello Wolfpack!

 

We at College View Middle School want to wish you a restful and joyous 2022 Winter break! We all know that the holidays can be a time of wide-ranging emotions from excitement to anxiety, gratitude to frustration, and everything in between.

 

It's also a time of year when we find that our families, neighbors, and community may need help, support, and resources.

 

Colorado 211 has organized a variety of resources to support Colorado families this holiday season. See below for information on meal kits for Christmas, gift drives and more.

 

Christmas meals:

  1. Christmas food baskets 

    • Agency: Servicios de la Raza

    • Includes: Offers Christmas food baskets on a first-come-first-served basis.

    • Includes: Christmas dinner basket vouchers for Christmas meal.

    • Includes: A hot holiday meal at the Lawrence Street Community Center.

Holiday toy drives/gift distributions:

  1. Christmas Event 

    • Agency: Afterhours Denver

    • Includes: Essential supplies like coats, socks, hygiene kits and more.

    • Agency: Kenzi's Causes

    • Includes: A new toy, small toy, a stuffed animal, and wooden toy car to children.
