🎨 Family Art Night
When: Thursday, March 14 @ 4:30-6:00 PM (Flyer)
Make art as a family! Ms. Claypool is looking for donations of paper towel rolls, paper bags, cardboard scraps cut into small, large, medium rectangles or other shapes, paper or plastic cups, fabric scraps, string, bubble wrap, and tape in all forms. 🏈 Flag Football Registration Opens Tomorrow (3/8) 
Calling all 4th and 5th graders, ELCSports Flag Football is coming to McMeen this Spring! Registration opens March 8 @ 6:00 am. Registration requirements: online registration, updated physical, and a $25 Pay-to-Play fee. More information here: Flyer | Registration link

👟 Volunteer Coach Needed for Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is in need of another volunteer coach. This after-school enrichment is available for 3rd-5th grade girls. The program runs for 10 weeks (March 5 - May 16) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:30pm, and culminates in a 5k around McMeen. McMeen and the PTO are working to streamline the volunteer sign-up process, but in the meantime there are many opportunities to get involved.

The McMeen Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) exists for the purpose of supporting the education and well-being of children at McMeen by fostering relationships among the students, families, staff, and community. This mission is accomplished through volunteer support, fundraising efforts, community-building events, and teacher and programmatic support. Membership is free and open to all McMeen families and staff.
