🪀Toys/Personal Items As a reminder, toys, costume piece such as fake swords, guns, or the like are not permitted at McMeen. We also ask that you do not sent your child to school wear heelis as this is a serious safety concern. 📕Family and Student Handbook Please take some time to review the Family and Student Handbook with important information about policies as well as appropriate conduct for families and students at school. 🏃🏻♀️Girls on the Run for 3rd-5th Grades 3rd through 5th grade girls - JOIN GIRLS ON THE RUN. Teams will practice 2x per week for 10 weeks with trained coaches! Learn more HERE. Our McMeen basketball teams had their second game last night. We received multiple compliments from spectators about how much both teams improved from Game 1 to Game 2! Team White put together a 4 quarter all around effort and got their first win of the season against a good Southmoor team. Andrew Vashaw was the player of the game! Team Blue showed a lot of improvement on both sides! It was another game that came down to the final minutes, but they came up just short vs. Cory. Amos Wright was the player of the game! The McMeen Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports the education and well-being of children at McMeen and fosters relationships among McMeen's students, families, staff, and local community. This mission is accomplished through volunteer support, fundraising efforts, community-building events, and teacher and programmatic support.
