☀️Spring Enrichments
Hello McMeen Families! We are excited to announce that Spring Enrichments are NOW OPEN! We have some excellent offerings for the Spring, so please take some time to check out the brochure or by scanning the QR code. Enrollments are open until FEBRUARY 1st at 10:00 P.M. The McMeen Basketball Teams had their first games Wednesday. Team Blue played vs Southmoor and Team White played vs Dora Moore. Both teams played hard and stayed positive. Despite being down early, Team Blue made a furious comeback fueled by strong defense, and fell just short. The player of the game for Blue was Banks Hamlett. Team White faced off a very strong Dora Moore team and after getting down big in the first quarter, managed to outscore their opponent the rest of the game. The player of the game for Team White was Riad Adrovic. Go Mustangs! You can see the full schedule of games here.    |

We have been having a lot of issues lately with our bathrooms and other common spaces. Please work with your child(ren) to help share the message that part of kindness is ensuring we extend that to all parts of our day and spaces. We can help one another by keeping our bathroom clean and holding each other accountable for their behavior in these spaces. Kindness should be happening everywhere and at all parts of our day!
The McMeen Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports the education and well-being of children at McMeen and fosters relationships among McMeen's students, families, staff, and local community. This mission is accomplished through volunteer support, fundraising efforts, community-building events, and teacher and programmatic support. Membership is free and open to all McMeen families and staff.
