It is likely that your child will experience some name calling, will get into arguments or disagreements, and may even be involved in physical fights. Talk with or role play with your student on how to handle these difficult situations. Not all conflict is bullying, but knowing what to do during conflict can help prevent your student from being bullied in the future.
The McMeen Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports the education and well-being of children at McMeen and fosters relationships among McMeen's students, families, staff, and local community. This mission is accomplished through volunteer support, fundraising efforts, community-building events, and teacher and programmatic support. Membership is free and open to all McMeen families and staff. Reach out to mcmeenpto@gmail.com get involved or learn more. 🗓️ Next PTO Meeting: Monday, January 8, 2023 @ 6:00 PM via Zoom THANK YOUSThank you to our 2023-2024 Mustang Sponsors |
