Weekly Happenings November 20-24 No School - Fall Break
Monday, November 27
Tuesday, November 28 Wednesday, November 29 4:00-5:00pm - Dual Language Family Meeting Thursday, November 30 5:00-6:30 pm - Multilingual Bingo Night - Feel free to bring your own dinner or snack. Pizza will be sold for $1 a slice. Free water and lemonade. Friday, December 1 5:00 - 7:00 pm - McMeen Family Movie Night - Bring your family and join us for a screening of Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken. Popcorn, Cookies, & Lemonade will be available for sale: $1.00. All students must be accompanied by an adult. More Info.

Collaborative School Committee Meeting
Our next Collaborative School Committee (CSC) Meeting will be Monday, December 4 from 4:00-5:00pm via Zoom (link to follow). The agenda includes discussing the family engagement survey results, McMeen's School Determined Funds, and a school update will be provided. We are asking that all families take this survey to help us start thinking of ideas in preparation for the meeting.

Families can now track minutes and donations online or in the Read for My School app. Details on how to sign up your student are here: English | Spanish. How-to use the platform: here.
📚 Fall Scholastic Book Fair
 Family Resource HubUpdate: We learned this week that the person leading the Family Resource Hub will be leaving the district. We are working on finding a replacement. In the meantime, please visit the Community Hub at Place Bridge Academy for support with accessing needed resources.

The McMeen Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports the education and well-being of children at McMeen and fosters relationships among McMeen's students, families, staff, and local community. This mission is accomplished through volunteer support, fundraising efforts, community-building events, and teacher and programmatic support.
