📚 Read-a-thon (ongoing) - Families can now track minutes and donations online or in the Read for My School app. Details on how to sign up your student are here: English | Spanish. How-to use the platform: here.

Family Resource Hub

Starting this week, we will have someone at the school who can help connect families with needed resources (for example, housing, cell phones, jobs, etc.). They will be at the school every Wednesday from 1:30-2:30 and they speak Spanish! Please stop by if you would like help accessing resources for your family.

November Multilingual Education (MLE) District Advisory Committee (DAC) Meeting

The November MLE DAC meeting will be Wednesday, November 15th at Place Bridge Academy from 5:00-7:00pm. The focus will be the Seal of Biliteracy. We encourage all families interested in pursuing the Seal of Biliteracy to attend!

✋ Volunteers Needed
Scholastic Book Fair (12/4-12/8): Volunteers are needed for setup, breakdown, and to help classes. Sign up to volunteer.
Winter Festival (12/14): If you are interested in joining the planning committee, email McMeenPTO@gmail.com.

The McMeen Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports the education and well-being of children at McMeen and fosters relationships among McMeen's students, families, staff, and local community. This mission is accomplished through volunteer support, fundraising efforts, community-building events, and teacher and programmatic support.
