Math and Literacy Night

Please join us November 9th from 4-6pm to learn about your child’s math and reading goals for the year. Your teachers will share FUN ways for you to help them reach their potential. Don’t miss out! EVERY student will receive a wrapped gift.

Family Gratitude Lunch

We will have our annual Family Gratitude Lunch will be November 8th during grade level lunches. You can buy tickets now in the McMeen Office. The tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for non-McMeen students or children. Below is our lunch schedule - please join us during your child's lunch time.

10:35-10:55 - ECE

10:55-11:15 - Kinder and 3rd Grade

11:20-11:40 - 1st and 4th Grade

11:45-12:05 - 2nd and 5th Grade

✋ Volunteers Needed

Scholastic Book Fair (12/4-12/8): Volunteers are needed for setup, breakdown, and to help classes. Sign up to volunteer.
Winter Festival (12/14): If you are interested in joining the planning committee, email McMeenPTO@gmail.com.

Please consider supporting McMeen families in need with a donation of essential items. New and gently-used items welcome. Sign up to Donate.

Show your Mustang pride and sport some new Mustang gear. You can now shop for McMeen spirit wear online. Items are shipped directly to customers and 10% of sales go to the McMeen PTO. Shop here.

November Multilingual Education (MLE) District Advisory Committee (DAC) Meeting

The November MLE DAC meeting will be Wednesday, November 15th at Place Bridge Academy from 5:00-7:00pm. The focus will be the Seal of Biliteracy. We encourage all families interested in pursuing the Seal of Biliteracy to attend!

The McMeen Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports the education and well-being of children at McMeen and fosters relationships among McMeen's students, families, staff, and local community. This mission is accomplished through volunteer support, fundraising efforts, community-building events, and teacher and programmatic support.
