I wanted to let you know that today our fire alarm went off multiple times due to a loss in water pressure from the city water. At no point were students in an unsafe situation. Students and staff were able to calmly evacuate and follow our procedures each time. Our students did such a wonderful job at our first fire drill of the school year.

 

I have been working with facilities staff to remedy the situation and currently we are having to leave the flashing lights on in order to avoid the alarm going off again while the water pressure is fixed. I want to reiterate that there is no safety threat to our school and we are all monitoring and working hard to fix the problem. Please let me know if you have any questions.
