 Ways to Get Involved

Bike Tire Tubes

We are looking for donations of bike tire tubes. These provide a great chair fidget for kids who need them. If you have any tubes you can donate, please let Lauren Bartsch know at lauren_bartsch@dpsk12.net and/or drop them off at the office.

Staff Fall Festival

We really want to celebrate our staff and are asking for donations of pumpkins or other fun Fall goodies. Our plan is to do all of this on October 17th. If you're interested in donating, please reach out to Lauren Bartsch at lauren_bartsch@dpsk12.net.

Recess Volunteers

We would love to start up our recess volunteer program again. The general idea is to provide a time for families to come and volunteer at recess and provide extra supervision. The sincere hope is that this is a fun way to support the school. We have put together a Guide for Playground Volunteers in EnglishSpanish, Arabic, and Farsi that goes over some basics of how to get started. Please email Stacy West if you are interested at stacy1west@gmail.com.

Heelys

Please do not have your student wear Heelys with the wheels to school. The wheels scratch our floors and make additional needs regarding the care and maintenance of our floors.

REMINDER DPS Your Voice/Tu Voz Survey

You should have received an email with the DPS “Your Voice/Tu Voz” family survey link. If you haven’t already, we ask that you please take a few minutes of your time today to complete the survey.
