What we improved in 2025—and what’s coming next

As we head into the holidays, we want to say thank you for being part of the ReachWell community.

This year, we partnered with Briebug and delivered a completely rebuilt Admin Portal focused on making ReachWell simpler to use, easier to manage, and more inclusive—so you can reach people clearly, quickly, and in the language they understand.

Here’s a quick look at what’s new and what’s ahead.


✅ What’s New This Year

🌍 Easier Access for Everyone

  • ReachWell now meets accessibility standards, helping people with different abilities use the app more easily

  • The app automatically translates all content in Spanish when a user’s phone is set to Spanish (all languages coming soon)

✉️ Simpler Messaging for Admins

  • Copy and paste text and images from documents or websites without formatting issues

  • Customize the text message invite sent to new contacts

  • App banners automatically resize so they always look great

  • IPAWS emergency alert support enables any community to alert in the user’s language

📊 Better Insight & Awareness

  • See whether app messages were received, opened, or clicked

👥 More Power for Group Leaders

  • Group leaders can create and manage their own groups

  • Group leaders can now send text messages and phone calls

  • Group pages can include helpful information, links, and resources


🚧 What’s Coming Next

We’re continuing to build based on your feedback. Coming in the next few weeks:

  • Improved language translation for clearer messages

  • A new newsletter and announcement tool designed for mobile phones

  • A better app experience that helps people join the right groups on their own

Our goal: less setup for admins, better engagement for your community.


🌟 How Partners Are Using ReachWell

Organizations across the country are using ReachWell in meaningful ways:

  • Early literacy programs are sending reading tips and activities to families (ReadLA!)

  • Schools and housing providers sending staff and campus alerts (Clayton and Boulder County Housing Authority)

  • Counties and fire districts sharing emergency information with residents (NE, CO)

  • Community programs seeing 3x higher event attendance because people actually get the message (El Sistema)

Clear communication leads to stronger participation and safer communities.
