Good evening, Denison Montessori community. The last week of the first semester is here! Report cards will be sent home for students in kindergarten through 6th grade on Friday, December 15th. We hope that you enjoy time with family and friends during the winter break. We will see all students back at school in the new year!

Attention to Attendance: Missing two days of school per month can make it more difficult for students to learn to read or to stay at grade level in reading. This is just one reason Denison Montessori wants all parents and guardians to understand the importance of being at school on time every day. We have a number of students who are on track to meet the goal of 95% attendance with two or fewer tardies for the month of December and the first semester. We will honor students who met this goal for the first semester with a special breakfast on Thursday, January 4th. Please watch for your child’s invitation on the first day of the second semester, January 3rd, 2024.

On Thursday, December 14th, Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Tori, Denison’s English Language Development teachers, will be holding Denison Montessori’s second ELA-PAC meeting of the school year. The meeting will start at 8:45 in Denison’s newly dedicated Dr. Martha Urioste Library. Parents are invited to join this meeting to discuss topics related to our students who are multilingual learners. We hope to see you there!
Fuel your Holiday Break with Tasty Food! The City and County's Office of Children Affairs invites all youth (ages 5-18) for a free supper and/or snack at any Tasty Food site across Denver during the holiday break! No registration or ID is required -- simply drop by and enjoy a nutritious meal! Check the schedule flier (in English and Spanish) for more information.
