Good evening, Denison Montessori and Happy New Year! I hope that you and your family enjoyed the holiday season and are ready to take on 2023! As usual, we have a lot of things planned for students and families for the second semester. We look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Announcements

Are you planning for your children to return to Denison for the 2023-2024 school year? Whether you know for sure or not, please complete this survey to help us plan for the 2023-2024 school year.
Denison’s incredible 6th grade students are planning a talent show for students in 1st-6th grade. Please see the attached document for details and dates. (add attachment)
Denison’s Collaborative School Committee (CSC) met on December 13th. If you would like more information about the topics discussed, please review the minutes. The date for the January meeting has been changed from January 10th to January 24th to align with upcoming budget deadlines. We would love to see you there!
Save the Date! Please hold Thursday, February 2nd, at 5:00 p.m.,for a community education night focusing on brain development, brain functioning in children, and the impacts of stress and trauma. More details to come!
This fall 2023, Colorado will offer free preschool to all children in the year before they enter kindergarten as well as to eligible three-year-old children. As the Colorado Department of Early Childhood plans this new universal preschool program, they would like to hear if families are interested in the option of an online preschool program for their child. Please complete this very brief survey (in English and/or in Spanish) if you will have a preschool aged child next year. It will be open until January 6, 2023. Please note that completing this survey does not register a child for universal preschool. More information about how to sign up will be available in January 2023, and families can learn more about universal preschool here.

Vui lòng hoàn thành bản khảo sát rất ngắn này (bằng tiếng Anh và/hoặc tiếng Tây Ban Nha) nếu bạn sẽ có con ở độ tuổi mẫu giáo vào năm tới. Nó sẽ được mở cho đến ngày 6 tháng 1 năm 2023.
