Safety Update

Good afternoon, Denison Montessori community. Just before noon today, DPS's department of safety determined that we needed to observe a secure perimeter due to police activity in the area. DPS's Department of Safety determined that the school was safe to resume normal operations in under 10 minutes.

This did disrupt ECE 3 dismissal today, and we apologize for that as we know it is scary to come to school and be told that we are in a secure perimeter situation. Please reach out to the main office if you have any additional questions.

Buenas tardes, comunidad Denison Montessori. Justo antes del mediodía de hoy, el departamento de seguridad de DPS determinó que necesitábamos observar un perímetro seguro debido a la actividad policial en el área. El Departamento de Seguridad de DPS determinó que la escuela era segura para reanudar las operaciones normales en menos de 10 minutos.
