What is a School Director on Special Assignment (SDOSA)?
The SDOSA is an experienced School Director who will leverage their many years of experience and expertise to lead the school as the School Director on record with a specific focus on side-by-side leadership & development of their School Director in Training (SDiT) partner. The SDOSA will develop the designated campus School Director in Training by providing expert 1-on-1 coaching to ensure the strongest school-wide academic and culture systems. The SDOSA and their SDiT Partner will be managed by the Managing Director of Schools.

Who will be the SDiT partner for the SDOSA if one is placed at MTVHS?
We are thrilled to share that Lauren Reibstein has accepted the role of School Director in Training for the 2023-2024 School Year. In addition to Lauren’s work at MTVHS she will be participating in the SDIT program which is a 1-2 year program with dedicated development & training programming. All SDiTs participate in rigorous readiness reviews in the spring of each year to assess potential readiness to assume the School Director role prior to applying or being placed as an School Director at DSST.
