School of Choice Application Process

KCAA Families,
As a friendly reminder, Round One for 2024-2025 enrollment is now open until February 12th. If you have a student in 5th grade going into 6th or 8th grade going into 9th, it is MANDATORY to reapply for a school. These grades are transition grades and require 5th graders to apply for a middle school and 8th graders to apply for a highschool.
If you plan to have your student/s continue their education at KCAA please follow the steps below.
1. Apply through School of Choice here (Required from DPS to apply for any school)
2. Complete the Intent to Enroll form here
3. In-Person interview- February 2nd 4-7:30pm or February 3rd 9-12pm
*Must bring portfolio for interest in the Visual Arts
*Be prepared to do a live audition or bring a video for interest in the performing Arts
*Students will complete a writing sample as part of the interview process
