DPS is conducting the Behavioral and Emotional Screening System (BESS) survey with students/teachers/parents. This screening provides a systematic, quick, and reliable way of assessing the behavioral and emotional strengths and potential risk levels in children and adolescents.

We ask that parents participate in completing the BESS survey for your child(ren) to help us understand if any students are in need of support. Please use the link to access the survey and refer to the Parent Flyer for additional information.

Click here for the Seal of Biliteracy Application

The DPS Seal of Biliteracy is a nationally recognized award earned by 11th or 12th grade students. It signals to colleges and employers that a student has attained college-level biliteracy in two or more languages. The DPS Seal is included on transcripts and will help you stand out on resumes and in interviews. In today’s competitive job market, the ability to read, write, listen and speak in more than one language can set you apart from the crowd.

El Sello de lectoeescritura bilingüe de DPS

El Sello de lectoescritura bilingüe de DPS es un galardón para estudiantes de 11.o o 12.o grado reconocido a nivel nacional. Indica a las universidades y empleadores que el estudiante tiene un nivel universitario de lectoescritura en dos o más idiomas. El sello DPS se incluye en los expedientes académicos y te ayudará a sobresalir en los curriculums y entrevistas. En el competitivo mercado laboral actual, la capacidad de leer, escribir, escuchar y hablar en más de un idioma puede diferenciarte de la multitud.

September 22 is a no contact day for students.

October 10th and 11 is Parent Teacher Conferences from 4:00 - 7:30 pm
