Reminders for the first day of school

Hello KCAA Dragon Families!
We are looking forward to seeing all of our students Monday morning!
Here are a few first day reminders
The first day of school for all students will be August 21st from 8:20 am to 3:20 pm.
- Kinder, First and Second grade students will meet their teachers on the playground
- Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade students will meet their teachers at the lower elementary parking lot
- 6th Grade students will meet at the main entrance on Quitman for orientation
- 7th and 8th grade students will enter through the main doors on Quitman Way and pick up their schedule in the main lobby or access it online through student portal.
- 9th through 12th grade students will enter the building through the south upper parking lot and receive their schedules upstairs in the quad or can access it online through student portal.
Breakfast is available for all students.
- K-5th grade is grab and go while heading to their classrooms.
- 6th-12th grade can enter and then exit the cafeteria through the south upper parking before the start of school
Please make sure to bring a water bottle to school
Needing School Supplies?
DPS Foundation has donated brand-new backpacks for students of all ages filled with supplies. We will put them out for families on Back to School Night, but if you'd like them sooner, please contact the Mental Health Team:

Sports
For students interested in playing sports, please complete the Early Fall Prep League Registration by August 25. Click here
MySpark application is now open for students that qualify for free and reduced lunch to receive money for after school activities. See flyer attached.
