Dear KCAA Families,
If your student/s own money for their lunch or if you want to know if they own money please contact the kitchen manager, Maria at 720-424-0216 since all fees need to be paid before the end of the school year.
Seniors: all seniors need to pay all their fees before senior check out day which is May 16th. You can pay through MySchoolBucks on your Patent Portal or in person in the main office.
The Elementary Student Council is hosting a BAKE SALE on Wednesday, May 3rd! Treats will be sold under the pavilion on the playground blacktop right after school 3:50-4:15. Elementary families: if you are interested in baking, please email evan_sumner@dpsk12.net or margaret_donofrio@dpsk12.net. More information will be sent home in your child's Thursday Folder.

PTO Meeting is April 20 at 5 pm, location to be determined . For questions visit the PTO Facebook page. PTO will give an update to the Collaborate School Committee, talk about community night, and finalize plans for Teacher Appreciation Week.
Community Literacy Night on Wednesday, April 26 at 6 p.m. in KCAA's upstairs library. We'll have writer, journalist, KCAA alumnus, and our city councilman Kevin Flynn talk about a book about to be made into a major motion picture. He'll also discuss his journey from student to writer as well as how he helped to uncover a dangerous Denver racist faction. We'll have snacks, prizes, and ideas how you and your children can become writers and life-long readers! Bonus -- you'll get to meet other parents!
Teacher Appreciation Week is coming: Monday, May 8 - Friday, May 12. KCAA has fantastic teachers! Please ask your children to say thank you. We'll have downloadable cards you can print (and write a note before signing) on our Facebook page as well as other ideas. Stay tuned and join the KCAA PTO Facebook page.
