Dear KCAA Families,

Starting this week, we will be sending a weekly newsletter for Elementary, Middle, and High School with information such as important dates, events, and friendly reminders.

Important, please read:

If your student(s) will be absent or tardy please call our attendance line at 720-424-0207. Absences or tardies reported without a specific reason will be recorded as unexcused. All absences or tardies must be reported within 24 hours or they will remain unexcused. Only district approved reasons will be marked as excused:

Funerals
Illness
Injury
School Sponsored Activities
Legal Obligations
Religious Observations
Medical Procedures/ Appointments (with a doctor/dentist note)
Out of Town/ Family Emergency

*The office does not release students after 3:15pm. Our school is very busy getting ready for dismissal and wrapping up classroom lessons making it difficult to contact classrooms and to get students released in a timely manner.

If your student owns money to the cafeteria please email or call Maria at msoto1@dpsk12.net or 720-424-0216

Friendly Reminders:

Families who are in need of assistance with Christmas food and clothes can contact Tami at tami_koenig@dpsk12.net
