Dear Families,
It’s unusual to have two snow days in a row, but this is Colorado! We hope you stayed safe and warm.
Monday starts our final week of learning before Spring Break. Attending school this week is very important, especially for our 3-5 graders who are preparing for the April CMAS tests. Spring Break is March 25 - April 1. School resumes Tuesday, April 2nd. Please do not extend your spring vacation, every day of learning makes a difference.
April CMAS Testing
Students in grades 3 - 5 will take the annual CMAS tests beginning April 9th. These important math, literacy, and science tests provide us with useful information about how students are growing. The full CMAS details and schedule are posted here. Please review the schedule to ensure you don’t schedule doctor’s appointments or other activities during the testing times.
Update: Adult English Classes Starting April 3rd!
Adult English Classes at Barney Ford will begin after Spring Break on Wednesday, April 3rd. Classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 am - 10 am. We will send registration information soon.
Sign up for Free Summer Connections
Summer Connections is a free, five-week academic program that is open to all rising first through fifth-grade Barney Ford Students from June 17-July 19 (no classes will take place June 19 or July 4-5). This full-day program focuses on preparing elementary students for future success.

Attendance Update
Our attendance rate was 91.1% was last week. 2nd grade continues to have the best attendance at 93%. ECE was the second highest this week with 92%. Keep it up!
