Dear Families,

 

Thank you for joining us for the Family Fun STEM Night! Over 250 people engaged in math games and learning about snakes, lizards, tortoises, and more. We hope that you enjoyed the evening and continued the conversations at home. We have another Fun Night coming up in February. Details will be shared soon!

 

Dollar Dress Down Day & Uniform Reminder

Tomorrow is Dollar Dress Down Day! Students can bring $1 to school and wear the clothing of their choice.

 

Please send your students dressed in their school uniform when it is not Dollar Dress Down Day. The uniforms help show Barney Ford's pride and promote a safe school-wide culture. Contact the main office if you need to purchase new uniform gear or need assistance with uniforms.

Collaborative School Committee (CSC) Meeting, Friday, February 2 @8:45

This is the time of year when we are finalizing our budget for the upcoming school year. We need your input on the process. Please join us on Friday, February 2nd from 8:45-9:15 for the CSC meeting to discuss the budget priorities. This meeting will take place directly after the First Friday Coffee and conversation. Here is the agenda.

 

Attendance Update

Our attendance rate climbed again last week to 89%. We want to continue building on this trend and get closer to our goal of 95%.  Every day of instruction matters and we want all healthy students to be at school each day. Congratulations to the 5th graders who reached 92.9% last week!
