DSST: Cole - No School Tomorrow 11/17

Dear DSST: Cole Families,

 

Due to ongoing power issues, there will be no school tomorrow, November 17, for the DSST: Cole campus. This includes all before- and after-school activities. 

 

Our campus is without power again, and Xcel is on site working to resolve the issue. They have determined that they need to replace a main power line that runs under our soccer field. This requires a significant scope of work to bore under the field, run the new line and tie it into the building. This is estimated to take 12 hours to complete if everything goes smoothly. Once completed, DPS and Xcel feel confident this is the long-term fix that will ensure consistent electrical service to the building and prevent future closures.

 

We know this short notice may cause challenges and disruptions for your family. Thank you for your understanding. We hope you enjoy a restful and joyful Thanksgiving break.
