We were thrilled to welcome all students and parents back on August 17 for another exciting year of learning and growth at DSST. This year, we are especially excited because DSST is marking its 20th anniversary! It's a remarkable journey that wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering dedication of you, our incredible community.

Over the years, DSST has evolved into a thriving ecosystem that fosters curiosity, innovation and collaboration. As we reflect on our past achievements and look ahead to the future, we are energized by the possibilities that lie before us.

Here's to the next chapter in our story, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary and continue to shape a brighter future, one lesson at a time. We can't wait to see all the wonderful things this year has in store for us.

The DSST website has a whole new look! We kept all the same helpful info, but we revamped the look. The new site is easier to navigate, includes upcoming events and also provides a closer look at some of our demographics and data. My Spark is a program that offers eligible DPS middle school students the opportunity for their parent or guardian to receive a $1,000 debit card that can be used to enroll their student in extracurricular activities. Enrollment in My Spark Denver is first-come, first-serve. You can learn more here.

Attending school regularly is of paramount importance for the holistic development of your child. Consistent attendance fosters a structured learning environment, allowing students to engage actively with their peers and teachers, thereby enhancing social and cognitive skills. By prioritizing attendance, you are not only supporting their educational journey but also instilling the discipline and responsibility necessary for future endeavors.
