Subject: Reminder – RFMA Uniform Policy Enforcement
03/20/25, 1:59 PM
Dear RFMA Families,
We want to take a moment to address an important matter regarding our school uniform policy. Lately, we have noticed that adherence to the dress code has become more relaxed, and we want to ensure that all students are following the expectations we set at the beginning of the year. To maintain consistency and a sense of unity in our school, we will be reinforcing our uniform policy starting April 1st.
Attached, you will find our uniform guidelines for both elementary and middle school students. We kindly ask that you review them carefully. Here are a few key points we would like to emphasize:
🚫 Not Allowed:
No Blankets (please send students with appropriate outerwear)
No Heelys (shoes with wheels)
No Hoodies (unless worn over a collared uniform shirt)
No Pro Club sweatpants or any other sweatpants
No Crop tops or tying or tucking the back of your shirt
No Blue jeans Monday-Thursday (only allowed on Fridays with proper dress-down privileges)
T-shirts (except for RFMA shirts)
✅ Required:
Collared shirts RED for Elementary students and RED, WHITE or BLACK for Middle school ( non collard shirts that are RFMA related are appropriate)
Black or khaki pants or black jeans (no rips, bagginess, or tightness)
Closed-toe athletic shoes NO CROCS allowed
We have provided students and families with multiple resources to help adhere to this policy, and we appreciate your support in ensuring all students follow these expectations. Consistency benefits our school culture and fosters a positive learning environment.
Starting April 1st, all students must follow the uniform policy as outlined at the beginning of the school year. Those who meet dress code Monday-Thursday and maintain good behavior will earn a dress-down wrist bands occasionally for Fridays.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in upholding our school standards. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
Ricardo Flores Magón Academy
