Halloween Celebration Tomorrow

10/30/23, 4:43 PM

Dear Parents,

We are excited to announce that we will be celebrating Halloween at RFMA on October 31, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

We are kindly requesting candy donations. If you would like to donate, please drop off your candy donations at the school office before October 31st.

We encourage parents to join us during the Halloween celebration.

Children are allowed to come to school dressed in their Halloween costumes, and they are also welcome to opt out if they prefer. We want everyone to feel comfortable and have a fantastic time.

Costume dress code is as follows:

• Students may opt in to wear Halloween costumes to school on Tuesday,
October 31st only.
• School Rules regarding dress-code must be followed:
o No short skirts/shorts/tutus, no bare midriffs, no bare shoulders, or
low necklines.
o Nothing that promotes the use of illegal substances or activities.
o No costumes that are derogatory, disrespectful, or depict violence.
• Hats and Hoods may be worn as part of your costume THIS DAY ONLY
• ALL costume preparations must be completed BEFORE entering the school.
o No dressing or applying make-up/hair spray once the student has
arrived at school.

• NO MASKS are to be worn unless during specified times for pictures.
• NO WEAPONS are to be brought to school (nun-chucks, sickles, swords,
knives, guns, etc.)
• Students or parents that have questions about the acceptability of their
costume should check with their homeroom teacher prior to wearing the
costume to school.
• Students wearing inappropriate costumes will need to call home to have a
change of clothes brought to them.
PARENTS: Please help support the appropriate, distraction-free learning
environment for all students by assuring that your child adheres to these
guidelines.

We look forward to celebrating Halloween with your children and creating a fun and safe environment for all. If you have any questions please contact Nayeli at the front office.

Thank you for your support, and we can't wait to celebrate this spooktacular day with your child!
