Join Us for Dia de Muertos Celebration at RFMA!

10/26/23, 12:04 PM

Dear RFMA Parents,

We are excited to invite you to our annual Dia de Muertos event at RFMA, a tradition close to our hearts that allows us to commemorate and celebrate our loved ones who have passed away. This year, the event will take place on November 2, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. We hope to see you there!

At our Dia de Muertos celebration, you'll have the opportunity to experience the rich traditions and symbolism of this holiday. We will have a beautiful altar in Room 206, filled with marigolds, candles, and offerings to honor the departed. We encourage all of our students to bring in a picture and an ofrenda to add to the alter if they wish to do so.

As part of the festivities, we will be serving Posole and Champurrado, along with delicious Pan de Dia de Muertos. We encourage you to join us for this special occasion and share in the cultural experience.

To make this event a success, we kindly request your support through donations. These donations will count towards your volunteer hours. We would like to have these items one day prior to the event.
