Welcome Back Teller!

1. Morey Middle School OPEN House- TONIGHT!

Morey Middle School will have its Prospective Family Open House this Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 at 840 E. 14th Avenue. We would love for your family to join us so we can share what makes Morey so special including our magnet HGT program, equity and inclusion initiatives, enrichment opportunities, and social emotional support. All Morey educators and leaders will be present at this event as well as current students and parents. Please RSVP here. Interpretation and information will be provided in English, Spanish, and French with additional languages available upon request via RSVP form.

2. No DEN Night this Saturday-12/2!

December 2nd was previously scheduled as a DEN night at Teller. No registrations for this night have been made, so we have made the decision to cancel this DEN night on the 2nd.

3. Tiger Angel Giving Tree

Teller is doing the Tiger Angel Giving Tree again this holiday season. There are only a couple weeks left before winter break. We are reaching out to our amazing Teller community to support and adopt the remaining families in need of holiday gifts. Please sign up to adopt a family in need HERE. Thank you for your generosity!

4.  Your Voice/Tu Voz Survey!

Please encourage families to complete the ”Your Voice/Tu Voz” survey by 11:59 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 1! Family participation in this survey is important as it helps schools and the district get feedback on what’s going well and what improvements can be made. Families who complete the survey are entered to win one of 10 $20 King Soopers gift cards. More information is available here.

5. December CSC Meeting Rescheduled

Due to a delay in receiving budget information from the district, the CSC meeting originally scheduled for December 5 has been moved to December 12 from 5-7 pm.  An agenda for the meeting will be sent out in next week's Pride Post.

8. A Message from the Teller Health Office

Hi Teller Community, although we have seen a significant decrease in Norovirus over the past couple of weeks (Gastrointestinal Virus), we still have some cases. As a reminder if your child is sick with GI symptoms nausea vomiting or diarrhea, please keep them home for 48 hours and we also ask that your child not return to school until they are 48 hours GI symptom free. Norovirus is highly contagious, and we are trying to be very diligent, so Teller does not have an increase in cases. Attached is an informational sheet on Norovirus. This was sent out previously, and I am including it again as a reminder.

Teller has seen an uptick in head lice cases in the last 2 weeks. Please check your children at home for the next 7-10 days. Attached is a Head Lice 101 information sheet.
