All grade levels are welcome to attend, especially those in 4th and 5th grades. We hope to see you there!

  • The PTA is looking for submissions! Does your child have a short story, artwork, or favorite thing about living in Denver? We’d love to see what they’ve got and get some published in the Congress Park and City Park newsletters. Please send all submissions to communications@tellerpta.org

2. Teller Health Office Updates:

About Norovirus | CDC

We have had over 30 confirmed cases of Norovirus at Teller. We have also seen an upward trend of  students going home with stomach aches, Nausea, Vomiting, and Diarrhea.

Please use the link provided to familiarize yourself with Norovirus and watch for symptoms in your children. If they are having any of the symptoms, please keep them home until the symptoms have resolved. Guidelines state that children need to be out 48 hours mandatory per the DPHE if they have the stomach virus symptoms due to the number of cases we have at Teller right now. Parents, also follow the guideline that their children cannot return until they are 24 hours without Nausea Vomiting and Diarrhea after 48 hours.

3. Ms. Yolanda’s Ofrenda:

Teller wants to shoutout and highlight one of our amazing staff members, Ms. Yolands!!! She set up this beautiful ofrenda for Dia de los Muertos, teaching students about it, and allowing our Mexican students to share their culture!

4. Slow Foods Opportunity- 11/10

The Hulu documentary series Dear Santa and USPS are hosting a "Letters to Santa" event this year and are excited to invite families and children to participate! Everyone is invited to come and write a letter to Santa and participate in USPS's Operation Santa program.

This event will be filmed and several children will be invited to participate in the next season of Dear Santa! They are especially looking for creative, fun, and heartfelt letters to Santa, and especially encourage kids to think big and get outdoors. Each person at the event will need to sign a filming release, and parents would need to be on hand to sign for children. Ideal age for the children attending would be between 6-10 years old. All children who attend and write a letter will receive a gift through Operation Santa whether or not they are selected for the show!

Come for a great afternoon of fun, laughs and holiday cheer!

Date: 11/10/23

Time: 3:30- 5:30 PM
