Good Evening Teller!

Starting October 26th, we will ONLY send out the PRIDE Post and other important information on Teller’s App, Reachwell. To ensure you stay up to date on all things Teller, please download the Reachwell app now and before October 26th. Please note, this will be the last PRIDE Post to be sent out on both platforms.

2) Final Farmer’s Market this Friday!

This Friday’s market will be the last one this year! It is going to be a class collaboration with Mr. Gray and Ms. Schwarz’s 4th grade classes! Don’t miss out on fresh veggies, bread, and more!!

There will also be  a community Halloween swap / sale! In an effort to grow our circular economy here at Teller Elementary School (thanks, Earth Rangers!) Halloween costumes will be available for purchase. Each costume is a direct donation from our community and is looking for another Teller Tiger to give it new life. If you have a costume that you would like to contribute ahead of the market, please hand it to Cheryl Ruiz and/or place it in her office. Costumes will be $2 and all proceeds will benefit The Pantry!!!

He’s also the co-writer of the Disney+ movie Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made.

We will be meeting in the auditorium, so please stop by and experience this fun opportunity!

5) Stormwater Project Coming to your Neighborhood

Pleaser review this detailed map of the detours for 14th. It shows suggested detours around the 14th Street full closure.

WHAT: The City & County of Denver, through its Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (DOTI), will soon begin work on a project that will include installing larger storm sewer pipe to better manage and improve flood mitigation during heavy rainstorms. This project is an open-cut storm sewer project with a twin tunnel underneath Colorado Blvd.

WHERE: The project extends from the intersection of Jackson St. and 14th Ave., across Colorado Blvd and south to the intersection of 13th Ave. and Colorado Blvd.

WHEN: The project is expected to start in November 2023 and last through January 2025.

TRAVEL IMPACTS: 14th Ave. will see a full closure for approximately 4 months. Colorado Blvd. will incur intermittent single lane closures throughout the project, and 13th Ave. will see a full closure for approximately 2 months.

With the necessary closures, this project will affect the Congress Park and Hale neighborhoods—and the traveling public—however, we will keep everyone updated as the project progresses. Detour signs and message boards will be in place throughout the duration of the project to alert commuters about the work and to expect delays. Impact / detour maps will also be included in our weekly email construction updates.
