Fall Festival- Next Friday!

Hello Teller Community!!! 

 

Teller’s next family friendly and free event is our annual FALL FESTIVAL! This year’s event will be on Friday, October 27th from 4-7pm at Teller. Just 10 days away!! Please review the flyer and the map for a better understanding of the Fall Festival layout and overall logistics.

This year’s event will feature a pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, costume contest (at 6PM), outdoor dance party, Trunk-or-Treats, Teller Pantry’s food bank, a cake walk game led by DOTs, popcorn and fresh pressed Apple Cider, and MORE! Enrichment providers (Hero Kids, League of Wayfinders, Fencing, Chess, etc) will be in the gym, feel free to stop by and ask them about their programs in person!

HELP NEEDED: We are in serious need of some support in making this event a success for the Teller community! If you are looking for ways to support, please see below!

  1. Candy Donations: We are collecting donations of individually wrapped candy. Donations of Individually wrapped candy can be dropped off to Cheryl Ruiz’s office at Teller now until the day of the event!
  2. Cake Walk: If you would like to bake/buy a cake for this activity- please email treisi_martinez@dpsk12.net 
  3. Trunk or Treaters Vehicles: We are looking for parents/guardians who are willing to decorate their vehicles or tables (tables will be provided by the school) and hand out candy from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. If interested, you can sign up here, some ideas can be found here.

We only have 7 families signed up and we need about 30 total!

Lastly, we will be holding a Food Drive on this day for the Teller Pantry Friends. The collection station will be by the Auditorium, here are the items we are collecting: 

  • ECE - canned cranberry sauce
  • Kinder - canned cream of mushroom soup
  • 1st - canned green beans
  • 2nd - canned pumpkin
  • 3rd - gravy packets
  • 4th - bottle of oil
  • 5th - boxed mashed potatoes
