We will continue to update our inventory list, which can be found here

Teller’s Book Swap Success!

This year’s Book Swap was a huge success! We collected and redistributed approximately 3,100 books. Every student had the opportunity to shop for “new” books that they can enjoy throughout the summer. We would like to thank our amazing community for donating so many wonderful books!

Teller Celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

On Friday, our students got the opportunity to watch the Kalamazoo Polynesian Dancers perform exciting dances and even a fire show. All month, we have been recognizing the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.

ECE Fun in the Sun

Our ECE students participated in an age-appropriate field day on Friday. They enjoyed playing in the water, blowing bubbles, and collaborating to lift a colorful parachute high in the sky.

Leaving a Legacy - 5th Graders in our Garden

This week our 5th graders got the opportunity to garden with our wonderful volunteer and master gardener Lisa Davis. She taught them about warm season planting and when these plants can go in the ground in Colorado. These young gardeners planted the plants that first graders had started earlier this year in their classrooms. They did such a great job in the garden and left it better than they found it. Thank you Lisa Davis and our 5th grade students and teachers!

Volunteers Needed for Summer Garden Maintenance

We are in need of families to help us maintain the Teller Garden over the summer so that our vegetable plants can thrive and be able to produce as much food as possible for the Teller Backpack Friends program this fall.  Families can sign up for one day (or more if you want) of maintenance which will include weeding, tying up tomato plants, organic pest control (knocking insects off with water), watering the front planters, and any other task as needed.  We are looking for volunteers to come in on Monday, Thursday and Saturdays throughout the summer at a time convenient to you.  Sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0548A9A62FA2F94-teller
