Yearbook Deadline: March 15th

The last day to purchase a 2022-2023 yearbook is Wednesday, March 15th. Yearbooks can be purchased on the My School Bucks website and cost $35 each. If you have any questions or need help ordering a yearbook, please email treisi_martinez@dpsk12.org


Colorado Measures of Academic Success

The Colorado Measures of Academic Success, or CMAS, is the state summative assessment for language arts, math, science and social studies. CMAS is aligned to the state’s rigorous academic standards and designed to gauge how well students are mastering the standards and are prepared for their next grade. Our 3rd - 5th grade students will be taking the literacy (ELA) portion of CMAS the week of March 20th - March 24th. Below is our literacy (ELA) CMAS schedule.

Clothes to Kids of Denver

Clothes To Kids of Denver provides FREE school clothing to kids who are in need or in crisis, no referral required. To shop, students must be age 3 - 21, enrolled in school or working toward a GED. Their wardrobe includes 5 outfits, 1 coat, 1 pair of shoes, 1 bra (optional) and 5 pairs each of new underwear and new socks. Students are invited to select clothing every four months in a welcoming, store-like setting.

They have in-person appointments and also offer wardrobes for curbside pick-up. Families needing clothing should: 720-379-4630 or email them for an appointment. You can also visit their website here


FACE University

DPS FACE University is a free site that offers resources that the DPS community and families can utilize to better understand how they can support and advocate for their child's education through tips, tools, webinars and online trainings. All trainings are offered in Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, French, Mandarin, Nepali, Somali, and Vietnamese. Check it out here.


Lost & Found

Please stop by the lost and found anytime between now and Friday, March 24th. We have a wide variety of unclaimed items that we hope can find their original owners. All lost and found items will be donated at the end of the day on Friday, March 24th. 


2023-2024 OPEN POSITIONS: PTA BOARD

Are you looking for a meaningful way to support Teller’s staff, students, and community with your time and talents? The Teller PTA Board has three open positions for the 2023-2024 school year. If you’re interested in volunteer leadership, we’d love to start a conversation with you! ALL ARE WELCOME.

Time Commitment:

- 1x month Board Meeting

- 1x month Community Meeting or Teller Town Hall

- 1x month meeting with school leadership (President-Elect, Treasurer-Elect only, when available)

- Support School Community Events, when available

President-Elect

Join the PTA Board for a shadow year to learn about the President’s role and responsibilities. Attend standing meetings and support the current President with overall coordination efforts, when available. Participate in any PTA-supported activities that are of interest. Project management skills are a plus but not necessary. Assume the role of President in 2024-2025.

Treasurer-Elect

Join the PTA Board for a shadow year to learn about the Treasurer’s role and responsibilities, to include managing the PTA annual budget. Attend standing meetings and support the current Treasurer with purchase approvals and disbursement of funds, if needed. Participate in any PTA-supported activities that are of interest. Accounting skills are a plus but not necessary. Assume the role of Treasurer in 2024-2025.
