COVID Case Updates (January 11, 2021)

Dear Farrell B. Howell ECE-8 School Families:

It is our priority to keep you informed of incidents related to safety and wanted to make you aware of a COVID-19 cases which have been reported to our COVID response team here at Howell:

  • A student or staff member within 1st Grade was diagnosed with COVID-19, close contacts of this individual case were notified by the school nurse and instructed to quarantine (if necessary.) The individual who tested positive was instructed to isolate at home until they were no longer considered contagious.

If you have any concerns about your health, we encourage you to contact the Denver Health School Based Health Center team at 303-602-8958 (or your primary care provider) for further evaluation and possible testing.

Please remember to report any positive cases of COVID within your household (especially students) or possible exposure to cases of COVID by calling me at 720-424-2746. I am here to provide you with the best information about when students should remain home and help ensure the health of our entire Howell family.
