Upcoming Behavioral and Emotional Screening System

Dear Parents and Guardians,
On September 13th, 2021 our school will implement a universal social/emotional online screening called Behavioral and Emotional Screening System (BESS) for the students at Farrell B. Howell.
The BESS will help us identify students who need additional attention, so we can adjust our support to better meet the student's needs. This online screening tool should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Parents, teachers and students will all be asked to complete this screening questionnaire. More information on the screening tool can be seen in the information form attached to this email.
Know that taking part in the BESS is not mandatory. If you wish that your child will not be part of the BESS, simply sign and return the attached form in this email

El 13 de septiembre de 2021, nuestra escuela implementará una evaluación social / emocional universal en línea llamada Sistema de evaluación conductual y emocional (BESS) para los estudiantes de Farrell B. Howell.
El BESS nos ayudará a identificar a los estudiantes que necesitan atención adicional, para que podamos ajustar nuestro apoyo para satisfacer mejor las necesidades del estudiante. Esta herramienta de evaluación en línea debería tardar aproximadamente 10 minutos en completarse. Se les pedirá a los padres, maestros y estudiantes que completen este cuestionario de evaluación.
