Dear Families,

 

We are excited to announce the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, which takes place from September 15 to October 15. This is a special time for us to honor and recognize the rich history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans.

 

Hispanic Heritage Month coincides with the independence anniversaries of several Latin American countries, including Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diverse cultures within our community and learn more about the impact of Hispanic figures in areas such as the arts, politics, science, and education.

 

To support your family’s celebration and learning, we have compiled a list of resources you can explore together at home that is attached to this email.
