  • After a national search process, we are thrilled to announce Nella García Urban as the second CEO of DSST Public Schools. Nella was chosen from an identified candidate pool of over 170 diverse leaders in an extensive search process. Click here to learn more about Nella!

Sky's the limit for Future Leader winner pursuing aerospace engineering in Colorado

  • DSST: Montview senior, Caleb Woldemichael was recently featured on CBS after he was named a winner of the STEM Future Leaders Award. CBS Colorado, in partnership with Chevron and Colorado School of Mines, recognizes six outstanding high school students who are excelling in STEM and awards them with $1,000! DSST: Green Valley Ranch High School triumphs with Colorado ESEA Distinguished School Award

  • DSST: Green Valley Ranch High School received the prestigious 2023 ESEA Distinguished Schools award. Commissioner Susana Córdova, acknowledged the collective efforts of administrators, teachers, support staff, and parents in fostering an environment of success. In case you missed it

Henock Tilahun, DSST: Montview graduate, has been selected for the Patti Grace Smith Fellowship! A total of 29 students from across the nation were selected, and Henock was the only first-year student to be selected!

Sophonias Paulos, a proud alumnus of DSST: Green Valley Ranch, has worked for four years as a 12th-grade teacher and advisor for the Black Student Alliance (BSA) at DSST: Conservatory Green. His journey from student to educator embodies the spirit of perseverance and dedication.

CEO Bill Kurtz was inducted into the Colorado League of Charter Schools Hall of Fame as a winner of the 2024 Lifetime Leader Award. The ceremony honors people who have significantly contributed to the charter school movement. He was recognized for his "genuine leadership" and "legacy of human-centered and values-driven leadership."
