Dear KNDMS Team & Family,
We are writing to you to share that on Friday, November 19th, all KIPP Colorado Public Schools will be closed. Denver Public Schools (DPS) will be closed and DPS buildings and services will be unavailable. DPS made this decision to give an additional day of rest to our team who have worked tirelessly to maintain safe schools and to give families additional opportunities to take advantage of the COVID-19 vaccine now available to young children. In alignment with this decision, all KIPP Colorado middle and high school buildings will be closed on 11/19.
As previously planned, our elementary schools will remain open on 11/19 only for parent-teacher conferences.
All middle and high school classes will resume normal operations on November 29, and all elementary schools will resume normal operations on December 1st.
Please consider using this additional time to take advantage of the opportunity to have family members vaccinated. Learn more about the vaccine and see opportunities to receive the vaccine here. Vaccinations are key to providing the healthiest learning conditions possible and ensuring our schools are able to run at full strength for all KIPPsters.

Estimado equipo y familia de KNDMS:
Les escribimos para compartirles que el viernes 19 de noviembre, todas las escuelas públicas de KIPP Colorado estarán cerradas. Las Escuelas Públicas de Denver (DPS) estarán cerradas y los edificios y servicios de DPS no estarán disponibles. DPS tomó la decisión de dar un día adicional de descanso a nuestro equipo que ha trabajado incansablemente para mantener escuelas seguras y proveer oportunidades adicionales para aprovechar la vacuna COVID-19 ahora disponible para sus KIPPsters de edad 5 - 11.
